Haveil Havalim and Super Bowl Hangover

Well, I probably should've posted this link last night, but I guess I was exhausted from a long weekend and a half-decent Super Bowl. Haveil Havalim #105 is up at Soccer Dad (see here for my brief explanation of what this is about).

The Super Bowl commercials were somewhat lackluster this year; the only one I can recall making me laugh out loud was the one where the guy picks up really scary hitchhikers just because they have Bud Light. And the game was about what I expected, though the score made it more exciting than it should have been. The Colts defense did exactly what I thought they were going to do, limiting the Bears to 10 points, but Hester's opening kickoff return allowed the Bears to finish with a more respectable 17 points. What made the game fun to watch was the hitting - I've always been a big fan of defense, and this game features some very solid defense from both teams.

Alas, the football season is over, and as much as I love football, it's time to turn my attention to other sports. Too bad my Nets stink.

PS - More serious post coming later today.

East Coast teams are awful.
